Its not what I had hoped for, but also I should have really just purchased one from a local place and been able to sit on it, try it out and really know what I was getting first. Sadly, this sofa, while it does look great, isn't. It's made fairly badly, one end of the seating area is very very hard and high, while the middle is quite low, causing you to sink deeply into it. I should not have to try to put in wood or cardboard to stiffen up a new sofa from sagging! I guess best to say its like sitting on a very lumpy area in your yard that's quite wavey. I don't know how others were lucky enough to not have the back cushions stay in place, but mine flip and flop all over the place. They are NOT connected and once you try to settle in to get comfy they start flopping about. Also, the back is veryyy low and really does hurt your back if you try to lean back for any length of time. I would try to send this back, but as I live in a very small apartment, I wasn't able to keep the cardboard box that it came in and I am fairly certain that Amazon wont be able to accept it unwrapped. I gave this 2 stars, as it does look pretty nice and I do love the faux leather look and feel, but once you sit on it, well its a different story. I do wish this had been the unit for me, as I shopped online for a very long time prior to buying this one and now due to the cost, I am stuck with it for a long time. I wont make this mistake again, that is for sure. Pay a bit more getting it locally, at least I can have them take it back if its awful. lesson learned.Shipping was faster than expected but it was a drop, not a delivery making it VERY difficult for a single mom on the 3rd floor of an apt. bldg to get into the apt alone. The couch itself is very firm. The material is such that you prefer firm because if you "break in" the cushions it will be lumpy. The chaise is not a chaise but an ottoman you place on either side under the longer cushion so if kids or large pets are wandering around and bumping into the ottoman, it doesn't line up like it should. You will have to keep placing it in the correct position. I almost wish the ottoman came with a separate cushion, then you could use the couch as a couch and the ottoman as an ottoman. I do not expect this couch to last more than a year. But for the price, I expected that and am happy with the product.I have only had this couch for a couple weeks, but so far I am pleased with the purchase. It's perfect for a small room, or a dorm. Those are likely the case for most of the buyers anyway. You probably aren't going to be ordering this sofa for the living room of your 5 bed 5 bathroom house.Anyway, it's relatively comfortable, and easy as cake to piece together. Extra points for this seller because the delivery included help carrying the couch up 2 flights of stairs. There's only one Con I can think of (while keeping in mind the price of course, there are obviously cons if you compare it to a $2k couch). Mine had a strong funky smell that is only now disappearing. I sprayed it daily with febreeze, on the surface and under the cushions. While we've only had it a little over a week, that is what my wife tells me everyday. As "Small Spaces" in the title implies this sofa is on the compact side. Being as such we excepted it to the on the firm side and it is. Neither of us find it uncomfortable, our dogs love it too, and the microfiber as a pleasant appearance. I read horrible reviews prior to purchasing it, this sofa would seem to be a take it or leave it item. If you have a small space or simply don't want a sofa consuming more square footage then necessary I'd recommend it. If you like a plush or soft sofa look elsewhere. I sould also not this unit is fairly light, additionally cushions store inside for transit. This maybe worth considering to stage properties, cheap, decent looks slightly smaller allowing a room to appear bigger .... Overall imo its worth the marked down cost, but not worth list, may have other uses and makes for great pet furniture.Got it SUPER early. It was given to another company for the actual delivery which was super nice because they asked if I needed help bring it in. I did. It was pretty heavy for one person. The couch is pretty okay. It feels really sturdy and the color is really nice. It's also pretty comfy. Putting it together was easy and fast. It's a decent couch for our space and for the price. This is probably not something we're going to hang on to for longer than a few yearsLooks nice, but it is a small/cheap/uncomfortable sofa. It worked because we needed one quick and cheap, but I will definitely invest in another sofa soon. Very quick to assemble. The cushions often slide and get smashed from normal sitting. It is easy to keep clean, and it is nice that you can choose which end the long side is on.It's been a couple of weeks since we've received this couch and we can already tell it is not going to last long. I leaned my arm over the left-arm (nothing out of the ordinary) and it sinked in a little bit. In the following week, the exact same thing happened with the right arm. You can't tell by looking at it that it's cracked but surely the wood it's made of is really weak. The extended cushion is nice but the height of the seats is very low. I'm not a big dude, but still I found it quite small also and not very comfy to seat in both the other seats.I purchased this in May 2016. It is now nearly October 2017. The bottom cushions have proven to last just past any 1 year warranty period and now have almost no fluff left to them. They've become uncomfortable. When I bought this in 2016, it was $360. I would argue I got ripped off then and didn't know it. Now showing a price of $512 as of this writing, you'd be a fool to buy this couch. I, now stuck with mine, will be buying a 5" thick furniture foam sheet and refilling these myself...at a cost of about $130.
