This book on science is ideally suited to explain kids every thing they need to know about the world at small scale, and put to rest fear associated with the word "nano," especially in a world where it is increasingly wielded as a weapon to stoke fear about science. Even parents can learn from it!The book is gorgeous and offers a visual exploration of what happens in the world we can't see and how that relates to the world we can see (small differences in the composition of molecules explains the infinitely rich experience we get with materials such as cotton or rock.)This is a great book about important notions, and I would recommend it to any kid. The author clearly knows their subject firsthand and how to make it palatable to young minds and get them excited!
