Description

PediFix Nighttime Bunion Regulator, 1 Pack Small Right. The PediFix Nighttime Bunion Regulator Reliever was developed by a physician. It is a bunion splint that guides the big toe back to its proper position. This effective bunion treatment also gently stretches the tendons and muscles to help slow progression of the bunion deformity. The PediFix bunion night splint is often recommended by foot specialists to patients who want to avoid or postpone bunion surgery. Also may be used as a post-surgical splint. This bunion corrector should not be worn while walking or standing. Foam lined, soft padding. Three sizes: Small, Medium, Large. Select Left or Right. One per package.

I bought it a month ago. I used it every night during sleep. I felt it only the first two nights. It is very easy to used. After it, I got used to it. I put it on the way like wearing a sock. I had trouble to hike for over an hour before. After I used it during the night and I used the PediFix Visco toe spacers in the daytime, I can hiked for four hours with no trouble at all. Highly recommend. I bought this for my right foot and bought FootSmart Bunion Regular for my left foot so that I can compare them. They work almost the same. Both can be tighten. Both are comfortable. One massage works very good too. Use a thumb to press on the top of the foot where starts from between the bones of two toes. Continue slide and press up and down. Move onward up to half of the foot. Someone does it for you is a lot better because it is very painful. After that, hot pad covers it for half hour. When it got well, it shouldn't be that pain. I once suddenly couldn't walk in the beach, my husband did that massage for me. The pain was gone and I could walk a while more. At that time, I haven't used any bunion regular yet.Trying to put off fixing my bunion, this product seemed like a good possible solution. I've been wearing it nightly for a couple of months, but missed about three days this past week. When I wake up in the morning, my foot looks almost normal. By the end of the day, it is back in it's distorted shape, but I seem to have less pain from the bunion than I did before. And last week, after missing a few days of wear, I had quite a bit more pain in my foot.Overall, it's not a magical cure, but it does seem to be a good way to manage the pain of a bunion. And I am still hoping that over time it will retrain my foot back to a more normal position. I do recommend this product!I got this as soon as I realized I had a bunion, even though I didn't have any alignment problems. Still, I notice a major difference after I wear this overnight. It's actually fairly comfortable and I can sleep very well with it on. The only possible negative is that it's made of plastic and thus a little unsteady. You can't get up and walk around with it in the middle of the night. But it's not made for that so it's OK.I am not sure that I would call it regulator. I have bunions that could be painful wearing shoes all day long, I have been use the regulator to straighten my big toe during the night. It is comfortable to me wearing it all night long. The strap needs to be adjust from time to time to ensure the right tightness.I really like this when I first got it. But after a few wears it was putting a lot of pressure on my toenail contributing to an ingrown toenail. I still use it as much as possible because it did provide some relieve from my bunion.I bought for my daughter, who now cannot live without it. One pair would last her about 6 months, then the velcro starts to lose its grip.A few weeks ago we found the same thing at Walmart for about half the price. We bought two pairs. So I do not need to buy from Amazon for a while.I don't actually have a bunion but a similar issue. The bone is turned sideways and is pretty painful, especially after I run. This thing is amazing. It pushes the bone closer to where it's supposed to be and relieves some of the pressure. I used to hurt so much I was limping many days. Now I put this on for an hour or two when it hurts and it helps a lot.I got the small size and it fit great, and it definitely pulls your big toe the other direction, but it hurts like you-know-what! Not because it fits wrong or anything, just because it's pulling it so much. I can only wear it for like 30 minutes at a time...at the very most.
