I think this is a pretty great value for what it is. I have been carrying this every time I leave the house for 2 months now. It is very well constructed and should hold up just fine unless you are carrying it exposed in very harsh conditions for long periods. I carry it in a lower cargo pants pocket to carry everyday essentials. For the review, I loaded it with the digital camera used to take the pictures in this review, a multitool, a flashlight, my keys, a lighter, and a thumb drive. There's still a little room left in the main compartment, and one of the pouches is still empty. This thing will get pretty fat if you fill it to the brim. It fits in my cargo pants pocket (with camera and all in it), but bulges quite a lot, and is heavy. I do not carry the camera in it, since this makes it heavy enough that it swings around in the pocket. I plan on getting a small, rigid case just for the camera.I got it in Tan and the color is pretty accurate, maybe slightly darker than the photo they advertise. I think tan, green and black all look great in the pictures and I had a hard time choosing just one.If you compare this to a rigid container such as some phone or camera cases, this is flexible, and so has the risk of damaging whatever is inside if it is hit hard enough, but the upside is that, similar to a backpack, it will flatten more in e.g. a pocket because it's pliant and not rigid.Pros:+ Color is just right+ It's probably a little bigger than you think+ 3-4 total compartments, depending on what you count; a zip-up in front, a pouch underneath that, and a zip-up on top with an open pouch dividing that in half.+ Straps on the back to fasten onto whatever+ Very well constructed and durable; the velcro strap which secures front flap to the main body is strong and the straps on the back snap on securely.Cons:- Maybe it's bigger than what you're looking for. Probably too big to comfortably fit in a front pants pocket (perhaps even empty), but keep in mind this largely depends on what you put in it.- Pouch is pliant and not rigid (Read: items inside may be damaged if dropped)- Perhaps does not utilize space as efficiently as a simple, open container without separate compartments
