It is pure white in color. You can both bake and serve in it. The manufacturer says It is oven safe, microwave safe, and freezer safe.The baker's dimensions are 17 in. x 9 in. x 2 in. It is quite large so the buyer can roast large pieces of meat or poultry. I used it for roasting a large ham on Easter and it performed quite well. This large capacity is both a plus and a minus. The plus is that it can hold a lot, and the minus is that when it is full, it is can be heavy and not so easy to move about. Make sure there is someone about who is strong enough to move it when it is full.I put the dish in the dishwasher after having used it both as a baking dish and a serving dish. It was pretty messy. It came out sparkling clean and looked great. It will be a handy dish to use for holidays and large family dinners.I am pleased with how the dish performed and how it looks.
