There's nothing really wrong with this boot. Sadly, I'm a bit of a connoisseur after 15 years of ankle problems. The Good: It's fairly light weight - lighter than an Aircast boot. It's appears to be non-metallic, so it won't set off airport security & has a soft liner. The sole seems to absorb shock reasonable well. The liner is nice & squishy. The Bad: It doesn't fit a wide calf well. The liner is barely wide enough to cover, so you can end up with velcro on the skin. The straps are barely wide enough. The straps are also only secured to one side of the boot - when it comes off, they frequently get tangled with one another. The bottom of it is pretty flat - it doesn't walk fantastic. I've got another boot with more curve to ends that walks better. The footbed is also kind of long so it makes a weird step.I put a lot of miles on a boot. I may be sound to walk short distances, but not longer ones like through O'Hare airport. The SOP when I twist an ankle is a week in the boot, which might happen a couple times a year.
